The Noxious Weed Appeal Committee is an appointed committee whose duties are to review cases in which landowners have failed to control noxious weeds, have been sent an individual notice (“Notice 1” form) from the County Agriculture Inspector, and have appealed that notice. In these cases, the appeal committee must meet, inspect the land, and decide what the next course of action shall be. They decide whether or not the County Agriculture Inspector may hire the control or eradication work done.
