The Resource Recovery Center allows residents to dispose of all their waste in one convenient location, including:

• Garbage (no liquids or rechargeable batteries in garbage)
  • Dump trailers of garbage are allowed but all items listed on this page will need to be hand unloaded prior to utilizing the dump trailer
• Demolition Materials (no liquids or rechargeable batteries in demo)
  • As of June 2025, the Clay Demolition Landfill is only accepting loads from large commercial companies.
    • All other loads can be taken to the RRC in Moorhead (must hand unload into a dumpster) or the Clay County landfill where a dump trailer can be utilized
  • NO DUMP TRAILERS AT RRC; please proceed to the Clay County landfill
  • Will need to be unloaded by hand into a dumpster at the RRC
  • No plastic bags; materials brought in plastic bags can be emptied into a roll-off and the bags placed in a garbage can on-site
  • No asbestos; must call the Clay County landfill to schedule a time to drop-off: (218) 299-5079
