15-Day Extension – Clay County Public Waters Inventory Update Preliminary Maps Comment Period
On February 17, 2026, the Clay County Board of Commissioners approved sending a letter to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) requesting an extension of the public comment period for the recent release of the Public Water Inventory Study. On Thursday, February 19, 2026, the DNR approved to provide an additional 15 days for the comment period. Therefore, the Clay County public comment period will now close at 4:30 p.m. on March 6, 2026.
