Free checkups and preventive health services are available for children, teens and young adults up to age 21 who are enrolled in Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare.
Checkups give families and health care providers an opportunity to monitor children's growth and development, screen for and identify potential concerns, and treat them to prevent bigger problems later on. Free Child & Teen Checkups services:

How Often Should I or My Child Get a Checkup?
Between birth and one month
At ages 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24 and 30 months
Annually between the ages of 3 and 21
More often if needed
