MN Health Care Programs

This program pays for medical care for persons who meet eligibility criteria for the program. This program is funded by federal and state dollars. Persons must fill out a formal application to have eligibility determined.

MA provides medical help for individuals and families whose income and assets are within program limits. MA may assist with nursing home costs.

How to Apply for Reimbursement for Medical Transportation

For enrollees of Fee-For-Service Medical Assistance (MA) (also referred to as “straight MA”), and MinnesotaCare enrollees who are pregnant women and children under 19 years of age, reimbursement for the most cost effective method of transportation and ancillary travel related expenses may be available. Please inquire with our healthcare team at 218-299-5200 for more information. For enrollees of health plans, please reach out to your health plan for medical transportation needs.
