The Civil Process Unit is responsible for serving court orders including but not limited to: orders for protection, harassment orders, subpoenas, orders to show cause, summon and complaints, and more.

Correctional Facility
The Correctional Facility has a number of programs for those that are not safety or security threats, these programs include work detail, work release, sentence to service, reintegration advance planning, and more.

The Court Security are responsible for the court proceedings, they a will search people entering the courthouse, and inform you about the items that are prohibited.

There are 3 secure detention programs the 30-60-90-120 day Correctional Residential Program, Sexual Therapy Program, and Secure Hold Program.

Law Library
The Clay County Law Library was established to make available, without charge, substantial and relevant legal materials for use by the judges and the courts of Minnesota; city, county, and state officials; members of the bar; and all inhabitants of Clay County, Minnesota.
