The WIC program offers nutrition and education for pregnant women, breast-feeding women, infants and children up to age 5. WIC Notice Regarding COVID-19 Outbreak
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, WIC will no longer be taking in person visits. We are still offering all services via phone appointment only. If you have a scheduled appointment already, please be prepared to receive a phone call at that time. If you need to schedule an appointment or inform WIC of a phone number change please call our office 218-299-7777.

Powdered infant formula recall
An advisory was issued Feb. 18, 2022 by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and a voluntary recall issued by Abbott Laboratories for some of the Similac, Alimentum or EleCare powdered infant formulas. Learn more. If you are unable to find your regular WIC formula, you may temporarily use your WIC Card to buy a different brand. See temporarily approved formulas.
