Tuberculosis (TB)

Clay County Public Health provides services to individuals with active tuberculosis and latent tuberculosis.
Medication, administration, education and regular evaluations are done to evaluate for potential side effects.
Active TB clients receive case management. An Adult Health Registered Nurse visits the home for direct observation of medication.
Medication for the treatment of TB is available free of charge to individuals who qualify. Medications are supplied by the Minnesota Department of Health.
