Starting Salary Range
$29.36 to $33.74- Higher wage is negotiable depending on experience

Qualifications
- A.A. Degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement
- Must have a current P.O.S.T. License or eligible to be licensed by 7/14/2023
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must successfully complete a background investigation, physical examination, and psychological examination

- Criminal history and/or driver’s license checks will be conducted for all positions within the Law Enforcement and other relevant County positions.
Duties and Essential Functions
The listed examples may not include all the duties performed by all positions in this class.
- Patrol duties enforcing Minnesota criminal and traffic laws;
- Investigation of crimes and incidents;
- Civil process procedures and service;
- Warrant inquiry and transportation of prisoners;
- Providing security for courtrooms and lock-up escorts.
