This position is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) for 12 months. There is a possibility of continued funding after 1 year.

Starting Salary Range

Annual Salary:  $76,419.20 to $79,372.80 or negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This position will be eligible for Clay County’s benefit package.

Duties and Essential Functions

  • Legal representation of the State of Minnesota and/or County of Clay in matters consisting of prosecution of criminal offenses, juvenile delinquencies and CHIPS. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the County Attorney
