The Clay County Recorder's Office began collecting surveys in 1991 when the county required a survey according to county ordinance. Surveys can be searched and are available for viewing and printing through our plats, corners & surveys online. Searches can be done by document / survey number, location (section, township and range) or by parcel number. The Recorder's Office did not start entering parcel numbers on surveys until the spring of 2014.
