Clay County document images are available as of October 1, 1994. Images are authentic reproductions of the actual document and the quality is usually good; however, blue or light-colored ink used on original documents will not reproduce well. If an image is poor it may be the resolution of your monitor. The printed version of an image is often better than the viewed image.
You have 2 options to display images:
Single click on a document number. Single clicking on an associated document number, if 1 is listed, will display the associated document image.
If you have clicked on the plus sign in front of a results row to expand information, you will see an image tab. The image tab will display thumb nails of the images (Page 1, Page 2, go to, last page). Clicking on the thumbnail labeled Page 1 will display page 1.
All plats are available through the Clay County website Plats, Corner Certificates & Surveys webpage. Printing from there ensures the best quality. All Plats, Corner Certificates and surveys can be viewed and printed at no charge from the Clay County website.
When viewing an image you can view the first, last, next, or previous page. It is also possible to rotate the image using 90 right, 90 left, or flip. Print, of course, allows printing of the image.
It might be helpful to check the normal image window size box. Click done to return to your results screen.
Note: Some images may appear black with white print. This problem will be fixed in the near future.
When printing, you have the option to print all pages, print current page, print first and last page, or print select pages. If printing selected pages, please use the print options window example placed on this page. (Certain existing page numbers separated with a comma).
